My beauty spotlight this week is a fierce DIVA! I've been said to resemble her (which I don't see). But she is near and dear to me in more ways than one. She has always been a beautiful girl even through her weight gain and loss (everyone knows I'm on the path to losing weight). What I love about her is she looks fabulous at all stages and is the epitome of female empowerment. Her own shows, production company, movies!!! Her style is awesomeness squared. Makeup is always impeccable.What more can I say about Raven Symone???

Raven-Symoné Is Combatting Body Critics

When she needs a self-esteem boost, Raven-Symoné can count on her biggest fan: her mom.

"She'll call me and say, 'You're very pretty,' " says the former That's So Raven star. "I'm like, 'Thanks, Mommy!' and that's my confidence for the day."

On Thursday, the singer-actress will be helping to boost some of her young fans' confidence when she hosts a hundred 11- and 12-year-old girls at a Dove-sponsored self-esteem workshop in Cape May, N.J.

"It's going to be so much fun," the 23-year-old, who's been working on her fifth album, tells PEOPLE. "We want to build their self-esteem and give them tools to face the world the next day without us there."

Raven-Symone showed off her "thick and fabulous" body in a dazzling floor-length gown at the 17th Annual Trumpet Awards on Sunday night in Atlanta.
Symone, 23, who has faced criticism because of her weight, has said the "haters" don't bother her – too much.
"People come up to me and have certain words for me, but you know what I do? I say, 'I'm healthy, I exercise, I believe in myself, and I think I’m beautiful,'" she told PEOPLE.
Symone was honored at the black-tie gala for her achievements in entertainment. Other honorees included actor Chris Tucker and NBA legend Magic Johnson.

Raven-Symoné: Only I Found Myself Attractive When I Was Heavy

 

If there's one thing Raven-Symoné never lacked, it's self-assurance.
The former Disney star, 25, who once contently called herself "thick and fabulous," showed off a decidedly slimmer look at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards. Strutting her stuff in a cleavage-bearing, all-black leather ensemble with thigh-high Louboutin boots, Symoné says she was never one to consider herself unattractive when she was still heavy.
"I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did," she tells PEOPLE. "So, whatever."

Raven-Symoné Clears Up Baby Rumors

 

The Internet has been abuzz with whispers of a possible pregnancy – and, by some accounts, birth – for That’s So Raven star Raven-Symoné, but the rumors have been put to rest.

"Raven-Symoné is not pregnant nor did she give birth," her rep tells PEOPLE.

That much should be evident when the 23-year-old actress and singer-songwriter takes the stage Thursday night at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, N.J.

Numerous media outlets have claimed that Raven-Symoné had been hiding a pregnancy, and the stories reached a fevered pitch earlier this week with reports that the former Hangin' With Mr. Cooper star had gone on to deliver a healthy baby girl.

Her latest album, the self-titled Raven-Symoné, is in stores now.

Raven-Symoné: 'My Sexual Orientation Is Mine'

 

Raven-Symoné has never talked about her dating life, and she isn't going to start now, she says.
According to the National Enquirer, Symoné is currently living in her New York City condo with girlfriend AzMarie Livingston, a contestant on America's Next Top Model.
While not commenting on the report, Symoné did address the rumors in her own way and Tweeted Friday: "I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
"However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay," she Tweeted. "To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone. I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!"

Raven-Symoné, eating fresh: The star picked up three footlong sandwiches at a Subway next to the Burbank Airport. Her takeout order? A tuna sub with an extra scoop of tuna salad, a double-meat steak sandwich and a foot-long Italian BMT (that's salami, pepperoni and ham!).

• Matthew McConaughey, cheering from the stands at Boston's Fenway Park as BFF Lance Armstrong threw out the first pitch at the Boston Red Sox game. Joined by Camila Alves, the two guys cheered on the Texas Rangers – even as they lost to the home team. But that didn't slow down the pals, who met up for a drink the next day at the Clink, a bar in the Liberty Hotel.

• Leonardo DiCaprio, sharing a corner table, a burger and fries with Bar Refaeli, an older man and a young boy at the tiny burger joint tucked away in New York's Le Parker Meridian Hotel. According to an onlooker, the foursome looked very into their food.

• Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart, catching a movie at the Grove in Los Angeles. Milling about in the lobby, Gayheart waited patiently nearby as Dane took a call and chatted on his cell phone in the corner.

• How to celebrate a successful night on the dancefloor? With a party at West Hollywood's Villa! A crew of Dancing With the Stars contestants – including Cheryl Burke, Christian de la Fuente and Kristi Yamaguchi – celebrated at their reserved table, drinking and chatting until midnight when karaoke started up. That's when de la Fuente took the mic and took the lead – singing everything from Ritchie Valens's "La Bamba" to Julio Iglesias's "To All the Girls I've Loved Before."

Actress Raven-Symoné, 26, best remembered as the precocious tot Olivia in the comedy series The Cosby Show and for her singing and dancing abilities in the hit Disney Channel programs That’s So Raven and The Cheetah Girls, will take over the lead role in Broadway’s production of Sister Act. Symoné takes over on March 27 for Patina Miller, who earned Tony and Olivier Award nominations for originating the role of street-wise nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier on stage.

Charlize Theron Takes To Motherhood

Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron,36, has recently adopted a baby boy named Jackson. The child is believed to have been born in the U.S. and is of African-American descent. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Theron said that the experience of being a parent is “overwhelmingly incredible” and that every day there is always something new. As for her professional career, the excited new mom’s upcoming film projects Snow White and the Huntsman and the sci-fi thriller Prometheus will be released in theaters in June 2012.

El estilo de... Elena Anaya

Un día más os dejo con un nuevo repaso de estilo. Hoy Elena Anaya. Una de las mejores actrices nacionales del momento, Elena se ha convertido en la nueva chica Almódovar por méritos propios.

Empezamos con este vestido blanco tan sencillo de YVES SAINT LAURENT de la colección de PRIMAVERA de 2012. Lo combina con sandalias doradas de LOUBOUTIN y bolso negro de YSL.

Seguimos con un original vestido corto dorado con estampado en el pecho en color naranja y morado de PRADA de la colección PRIMAVERA/VERANO de 2012.

Este es uno de mis favoritos. Vestido amarillo estampado de PRADA que combina con unas sandalias en color fucsia de MIU MIU.

Seguimos con el vestido que lució en los Goya de 2012. Un precioso y delicado vestido de tul blanco de LANVIN que combinó con un cinturón dorado y un espectacular colgante. Una manera estupenda para recibir su Goya como mejor actriz protagonista.

En el Festival de Cannes con un mini vestido en blanco y negro  de DIOR que combina con unas altísimas sandalias negras con rejillas de MIU MIU.

MIU MIU también suele estar presente en su armario. Aquí con un vestido de la colección FALL 2011.

Con un total look STELLA MCCARTNEY formado por unos pantalones negros, una camisa blanca y una americana amarilla. Completa el look con unas sandalias negras.

Para la premiere de 'La piel que habito' en Londres, lució un precioso vestido palabra de honor de MIU MIU que combina con unas sandalias glitter azules de la misma firma.

No suele lucir vestidos muy presuntuosos. Los conjuntos de pantalón le quedan de maravilla.

En los Fotogramas de Plata de 2010 con un vestido rojo con escote halter que combina con botines negros y un cinturón dorado de FENDI.

En la presentación de los Goya del año pasado con un look de MIU MIU.

Espectacular estuvo en Cannes en 2011. Con un sexy vestido de ELIE SAAB de la colección de PRIMAVERA de 2011.

Elena volvió a confiar en la sencillez de este vestido rosa palo de CHANEL de la colección de PRIMAVERA 2012. Lo combina con unos peep-toes negros.

Volvió a brillar con este diseño lleno de palliettes dorados de CHRISTIAN DIOR.

Termino con este vestido en azul y negro de MIU MIU de la colección de PRIMAVERA de 2012-

Campanadas 2013

Hola chicas! Como ya hice el año pasado AQUÍ, os dejo con las imágenes de las presentadoras de las galas  año nuevo. Espero que os gusten. ¿Cuál fue vuestro favorito?

Empezamos con TVE que como viene siendo habitual, le encargó a su presentadora estrella la tarea de dar la bienvenida al año. Anne Igartiburu, acompañada este año del actor Imanol Arias, vistió este año un vestido rojo de lentejuelas que no pudimos ver en su totalidad, con escote barco y de manga larga de su adorado LORENZO CAPRILE.

En Antena3 las uvas las dieron dos veteranos con Paula Vázquez y Carlos Sobera.  Aquí tuvimos un problema y es que el tirante del vestido de Paula se rompió solo un minuto antes de que dieran las 12, lo que hizo que la modista de la cadena tuviera que entrar en directo para arreglárselo. Al final todo fue un susto y pudieron dar las campanadas como si no hubiera pasado nada. 

En Telecinco los encargados de recibir el año nuevo fueron los actores de 'La qué se avecina' Vanesa Romero, Jordi Sánchez y Pablo Chiapella. Vanesa lució un delicado vestido blanco con transparencias del diseñador ALEX VIDAL.

Terminamos con los presentadores que dieron las campanadas en LaSexta. La presentadora Sandra Sabatés y el cocinero Chicote. Sandra lució un atrevido vestido verde oscuro con transparencias y lentejuelas de diseñador desconocido hasta la fecha.
